Mission Statement:
Believing that God's main concern is that we live in relationship with Him and caring relationships with one another, we will encourage one another to participate in small group ministry in order that every person in our midst feels loved by God and by us."
Goals:
That every person who worships our Lord at Hosanna Lutheran Church feel cared for by at least one other person from Hosanna.
That several opportunities for small group study/fellowship will be offered annually with that number increasing each year.
That training for lay/group leaders will be held on a regular basis.
The Details...
Each small group meets for three six-week sessions during the school year; Fall, Winter, and Spring.  At the initial session each group writes its own covenant, deciding details such as when and where to meet.  Each group develops its own agenda and personality.   The emphasis is on building relationships/friendships and prayer recognizing the comfort level of the members.  This is all done within the context of God's Word.
