Hosanna Care Quilters
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
The Hosanna Care Quilters group was formed so that ladies of the congregation can enjoy fellowship while creating hand-made, tied quilts and lap robes for others. The group meets every Monday from 10 am – 3 pm, and all Hosanna ladies are welcome. Participants should bring a sack lunch but everything needed to create the quilts and robes is furnished.
The quilted items are shared with a variety of recipients throughout the world. Some of the quilts are given to Lutheran Social Services, the Hosanna youth auction, Minnesota Nice, King’s Aid, benefits for Hosanna families, St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, Hurricane Sandy and other relief efforts, Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission & School, Warm & Fuzzy Tree, Orphan Grain Train and so much more.
