Volunteering at Worship

If you are interested in helping during worship services, please email Robin Rotchadl, Volunteer Coordinator, (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she will contact you, as needed, regarding opportunities to serve at the worship time of your choice.
Volunteer Needs During Worship:
Welcoming disciples and community members to worship; handing out worship materials.
Reading the selected Bible verses in front of the congregation during worship. The verses are sent in advance so the reader has time to practice as needed.
Ensuring that all other volunteers are in attendance and prepared to do their jobs. Worship coordinators are trained to perform any volunteer position and can assist others as needed.
Filling the communion cups with wine and juice; placing communion wafers on trays. Cleaning the communion containers and prep room as needed.
Seated in the audio-visual booth, the ProPresenter assistant advances the slides during worship. An AV technician is also present to start videos, run the camera, sound, and lights.
